Users were demanding this feature for a long time. Since Whatsapp is a major messaging app and daily millions of people use it, security is the ultimate priority for Whatsapp users. According to the business of apps 65 billion WhatsApp messages sent per day, or 29 million per minute.

HOW TO ADD FINGERPRINT LOCK-IN WHATSAPP
STEP 1- Make sure your Whatsapp is updated to the latest version. (2.19.308). Your smartphone has registered fingerprints with your smartphones’ sensors.
STEP 2- Open the app and tap on the three dots on the top right corner.
STEP 3- Then tap on Settings> Tap on Account> Tap on Privacy.
STEP 4- In the Privacy section, in bottom tap on Fingerprint lock.
STEP 5- Then enable unlock with Fingerprint.
NOTE: 1-In the fingerprint lock section you will get three lock options to choose from. The app will be automatically locked after
>immediately
>After one minute
>After 30 minutes.
Choose the best one you think.
2- When the lock mode is active then still you can answer calls. But to use Whatsapp you need to unlock with your fingerprint.
